Capable of withstanding extreme temperatures. Once applied, a protective coating is formed which will not wash off or burn, therefore reducing metal-to-metal friction. Also assists with the assembly and future dismantling of threaded fastenings<\/p>\n<p><strong>CG-265<\/strong> is a lead-free compound for threaded connections of pipes, flanges and threaded fasteners subjected to high temperatures and\/or corrosive environments. The compound overcomes galling on assembly, prevents seizure and reduces dismantling torque.
